CAMP NOTES:

1. Bring a water bottle (or Gatorade) with you each day.  Water will be available that you can get refills from.

2. Bring a towel

3. Wear shoes that you can run in (sprinting spikes, football cleats or specialty shoes are not recommended)

4. Wear clothes that will keep you cool, white shirts reflect the sun's rays and are cooler then dark shirts.

5. Bring sunscreen, we will be outside for a large portion of the camp.

6. Finally, bring a POSITIVE attitude, this is speed camp... it involves running, so be prepared to run.

INFO FOR PARENTS:

1. Parking is available near the football stadium and west of the practice football field.  Please feel welcome to stay and watch the camp.

2. Camp will start at 8:30am and end at 12:00pm each day.  We will have a staff member available at the practice field by 7:30 am each morning for parents who need to drop their child off early.  If you need to make arrangements for an earlier drop off time please contact Butch Rawls or Ryan Turner (see contact information above) and we will do our best to accommodate you.

3. Finally, it’s important that you remind your child that speed camp will be a feast of knowledge and your support is greatly appreciated.  Just like a buffet there will be some dishes that will be their favorites, some that they’ll be trying for the first time, some they’ll have to eat because it’s good for them, and some things that they might not like but will politely have to taste.  When it’s all said and done we hope your child has a great experience and uses the information they learn to enhance their speed in their respective sport.
